Tiber at night/last night's walk to dinner/outside the restaurant in Trastevere/my lovely roommates for the summer
We had dinner with new friends, sisters Andrea and Leah, at one of their favorite restaurants in Trastevere, Da Gildo. "Italian time" dinners are amazing; it takes forever to get your wine, then antipasta, then prima piatti, then whatever else you get. This would be highly annoying in the States, but in Italy, it allows for a lot more talking and laughing and general enjoyment. In sum: great food but even better company. Perfetto.
The wine menu did have a pretty cute translation to inglese:
