Musei Capitolini

atrium/Marsyas/ceiling detail/noble woman portrait/list of Roman senators/baby Hercules and the snake/Vecchia Ebbra (the old drunk one)/Emperors aka LeAnne's friends

Spent the first half the day at the Capitoline museums (after a caffè doppio of course). I tried to post photos that you haven't seen ten million times (Marcus Aurelius, etc). The Marsyas was really interesting to learn about, because Anna and LeAnne and their dig group found one last summer on their archeological dig site near Rome. Apparently its even more complete than the one pictured, and may end up in the Capitoline. I think that's pretty amazing.
